Results from Event #45, 27th March 2021
314 members took part in today's event from 61 clubs. There were 3 first timers and a first time appearance from South Kent Harriers, welcome! Well done to everyone who took part today and thank you for sharing your stories and photos. 58 Fly PBs were achieved today, nice work!! And a few Lifetime PBs as well.
A bright and sunny day for quite a few of us today, and wind in some places which may or may not have helped matters! There were more birthdays than I can shake a stick at, Happy Birthday to anyone concerned! There may well be a few new age categories amongst them. Today's runs included daffs, trampolines, legal mushrooms, a friendly pig, post covid jab runs, a completion of a 100km challenge, and the escapades of Flash, Godzilla and a nun. Never a dull day with you lot!
Many of us are looking forward to the week to come, from Monday the long awaited first set of changes to the lockdown rules, and with that the return to club runs in groups of 6, hurrah! Perhaps this means next week's Fly might contain some group of 6 runs?! Let's see how any extra club runs during the week help our Fly 5k times next weekend. We also look forward to celebrating yet more birthdays next week. Stay safe guys.
